The family moved to Los Angeles, California at a young age and made it their home until 1995, when the love of her life Samuel C. McDuffie gave her the scratch off lottery winning ticket that sent her to the "Big Spin" in San Francisco, California. Mama being the life of the party gave that wheel the biggest spin she could summons and became a winner. At that time she convinced Sam, her Mother and Father to pull up roots and move to Las Vegas, Nevada leaving a host of friends and family. Mama loved Las Vegas; she immediately made good friends that have followed her throughout her life.
The biggest part of her life besides "Sam", was her job at "Chapman Las Vegas Dodge", there she worked for 28 years as a "Receptionist/Concierge" and nothing could stop her from work, even during her last days. "Mama" somehow convinced the doctor to allow her to go back early (Mama had that power to get things out of people, and before you knew it you were giving her the shirt off of your back). Her last days were spent telling people that she would be back to work on Monday, she was a trouper to the end!!!
Mama was preceded in death by Renee S. Randolph, daughter, Norman E. Bookman, father, Q.T. Bookman, mother, Samuel C. McDuffie, love of her life, and Belinda J. Randolph, daughter.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Altoria "Torie" Fuller, one granddaughter, Jacqueline N. Milton, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a host of adopted Daughters and Sons, and a host of the most faithful and loving friends (family) that she could ever wish for.
We love you Mama!
