Gloria Jean Szczepanski “Auntie” 83, of Las Vegas, went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2024. She was born in Milwaukee, WI and was a 60-year resident of Las Vegas. She retired from Jerry’s Nugget Casino and enjoyed spending her time with family above all else. Gloria was a loving sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Salomone; brother-in-law, Luigi Salomone; and brother, Robert Szczepanski. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Horton and family; brother, Kenny Szczepanski; her nieces and nephews, Kirby and Joyce Salomone and family, Joseph Salomone, and Debra and Anthony Lozano and family; six great nieces and nephews; and fourteen great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for "Auntie" Gloria will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Celebration of Life Luncheon to follow, from 1-4 PM at the California Hotel downtown, Maile Room, 2nd floor.
