Grace Sullivan was a long time resident of Fremont, California where she lived since leaving her birthplace of Loving, New Mexico at the age of two. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1982 and married her best friend and partner for Life, Russell Sullivan in May of 1986.
Family and friends were Grace’s passion and delight. She loved to bake and enjoyed entertaining. She made the most amazing Chocolate Chip cookies. If that entertaining included a game of Yahtzee all the better. She was a dedicated mother raising two children. Grace is celebrated for her curious and loving spirit, as well as her warmth, sensitivity and sense of humor.
Grace was a dedicated cheer mom, and at sidelines for every one of her son’s football games. She gave of herself to those she cared for. She was selfless in her pursuits of family. She was funny up to her last days, she was loving up to her last moments. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Grace is survived by her children Wesley Garrett Sullivan, Mallory Rose Sullivan, and her five loving Grandchildren.
We celebrate her life with memories that we share and we ask you to do the same. Grace requested an intimate funeral and our family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last few months.
“Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories.”
