

Helen Margaret Harris Stock passed away peacefully January 24, 2020 in Franklin, TN. Helen was born in Fall River, MA on February 19, 1926, daughter of the late Louis & Sophie Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln Stock of Las Vegas, NV and son-in-law Dennis Phillips, Franklin, TN. She leaves behind loving daughters: Lynne Drury (Jim), of Franklin, TN and Elena Madsen (David), of San Diego, CA. She was also blessed to have nine grandchildren; Shaun Phillips (Carly), Knoxville, TN; Devin Phillips, Franklin, TN;; Aaron Madsen, Boston, MA; Sara Madsen, Mission Viejo, CA; Spencer Drury, Chapel Hill, TN; Kristian Madsen, Las Vegas, NV; Todd Madsen (Jen), West Jordon, UT; Kimball Madsen (Amber), Murray, UT; Harmony Neuenkirch (David), West Valley, UT. Helen also had thirteen great-grandchildren- Kasen, Cole, McKenzie, Owen, Jack, Kennedy, Easton, Holden, Walker, Carter Madsen, Kaleb & Vera Neuenkirch; and Cole Drury. She is also survived by her sister, Katherine Constant, Glen Head, NY; Nephews Chester Sharpe, Sun City, AZ; Robert Constant (Karen), New York,
NY; Niece, Carin Constant, East Hampton, NY and Special Friends George Tinker (Pam), Santa Barbara, CA; Aurelia Holden, Murfreesboro, TN and WK Williams (Sandra), Fairfax, VA.
Helen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Skidmore College in New York. She was an accomplished painter and passed her creativity to her grandchildren Devin & Sara. Helen was Personnel Director for B. Altman & Company, one of the leading department stores in New York, from 1948 to 1965. After moving to Las Vegas in 1968, Helen worked for the Culinary & Bartender’s Union Pension Fund. She retired as Vice President after 46 years in 2017. She was an active member of St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. Helen was instrumental in development of the Sunday School Program, Greek Food Festival and served as a Parish Council Member. In her spare time Helen and Lincoln traveled the world. She especially loved cruises with her family and grandchildren.
The epitome of party hosts, Helen threw theme parties that will not be forgotten. Whether birthdays, Christenings, Anniversaries and or nothing at all she loved to celebrate in style! Her last adventure was moving to Franklin, TN to enjoy her family, boating, travel and dogs. Her priorities were her family, career, Church and making a difference in her community. Her passion and energy were boundless for everything she did. Services to celebrate Helen's life are being held at St. John The Baptist Greek
