

Henry was raised in Delhi Louisiana where he attended Ester Tune Elementary School. At a very young age Henry accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized at the Little Creek Baptist Church. At the age of seventeen Henry enlisted in the United States Army where he fought for this country in WWII and was honorably discharged at the end of his service.
Henry later moved to Las Vegas Nevada in 1947. It was here that he met and married Moszel Hall and remained married until her passing in 1999. The two had two children Harry C Nathan and Henry P Nathan Jr. and a son Danny L Burks. Henry absolutely loved the LA Dodger’s, mixed nuts and his Heinekens. He worked at the Hoover Dam for 2 years before gaining employment at the Nevada Test Site. Where he remained employed for 40 years until retirement in 1992.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife Moszel, his son Harry and leaves to cherish his legacy his son’s Danny L Burks, Henry P Nathan Jr., Doretha R Mosby, and Westine Parker. His grandchildren, DeAndre Dwayne Daniels, LaTricha Nathan, Ashley Rena Nathan and Dannika Larue Burks. His great-grandchildren Kameron, Kamarion, Unique, and Journee. Along with a host of family and friends that he touched along the way.
