

James was born on October 17, 1961 at Cedar City Hospital in Cedar City, Utah. His parents were Richard and Marlene MacLeod. James was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. James was raised with three siblings, he had two younger sisters, Kathy and Suzie, and one younger brother, Moe. He graduated from Bonanza High School in 1979. His favorite class in high school was auto mechanics. He enjoyed spending time "hot-rodding" cars. On August 1, 2003 James exchanged wedding vows with Karen Elizabeth Bryson at the The Terrace of Henderson, Nevada. James brought the same traditional values in his marriage to bear on how he raised his children. James was blessed with three children, Misti, Fallyn, and Hunter. They were also blessed with four grandchildren, Austin, Autumn, Elle, and Evan. His primary occupation was co-owner of Beal's Royal Glass. He was a Master Glazier for 34 years. James was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. Some of James’ favorites were Smoke and Kuma. Kuma and James were best friends for 16 years. His family was rounded out by his African Grey Parrot, Barney. He is survived by his father, Richard MacLeod; his brother, Moe Beal; his sisters, Kathy and Suzie; his wife, Karen Beal; his three children, Misti, Fallyn, and Hunter; his four grandchildren, Austin, Autumn, Elle, and Evan; and his friend, Barbie Beal. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada. James was laid to rest in Cedar City Cemetery in Cedar City, Utah.
