James Ivey

James Nile Ivey; born May 29th, 1930 in Wortham, Texas passed away on October 18th, 2011 in Littlerock California. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Betty Ivey and his daughter, Deborah Dyer. He is survived by his present wife, Kathy Ivey, Sons; Michael Ivey (Daun), Randy Ivey (Carole) and Son-In-Law James Dyer, grandchildren; Jimmy Dyer, Stephanie Dyer, Brett Ivey (Selena), Amanda Costella (Jack), Jeff Ivey, Travis Ivey (Tina) and Megan Ivey, great-grandchildren; Jamie, Cole, Makenna, Gavin, Dylan, Madelyn, Chase and Blake, step-daughter Wendy Rushing, step-sons Daniel Harrison (Lisa), & William Harrison (Lisa) and their children Amber, Taylor, Zachary, Hannah and Will. Jim was a Burbank, California Fireman in the 1970's, moving to Littlerock in 1979 to utilize his contractor license building homes in the Antelope Valley and other areas of Southern California.

He loved building cabinets for his homes and the homes of customers.

James took great pride in his children and grandchildren who worked with him in construction , and loved spending time with them building projects in his shop & attending their various school sports activities. Services will be held in private.
