James Brent Montgomery, age 82, passed away on January 27, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Brigham City, Utah, but has spent most of his life in Las Vegas. James was employed in the gaming industry as the Vice-President of Slot Operations at the Sand Hotel and Casino before its demolition. This was a job he truly loved and was proud of.
He is survived by his son, Bram Montgomery of Germantown, Maryland, two step-daughters, Lisa Brown of Everett, WA and Trudi Farber of Las Vegas, NV. Eight grandchildren, Liam Montgomery, Tiernan Montgomery, Caelan Montgomery and Gloriana Montgomery of Germantown, MD. Jeremy Leos, Zachary Stanbrough of Las Vegas, NV, Jayden Brown of Laguna Beach, and Nolan Brown of Everett, WA and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Leos and Mason Leos of Las Vegas, NV. James is also survived by twin brothers, Don and Ron Davis of Salt Lake City, UT.
