James Gilbert Sanders

James Gilbert Sanders was born in Monroe, Louisiana on June 10,1965. James was proceeded in death by his parents Eliza Love-Sanders, James Gilbert Sanders, and brother Ivy Myron Sanders. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his savior, and was baptized at Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church in Tallulah LA, where he served in the choir.

Upon graduating from McCall Senior High School in Tallulah, LA; in 1983 James moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and made it his home. Upon his arrival; James was immediately hired and began his career with Holiday Inn Casino; now known as Harrah’s Hotel and Casino which is a part of one of the largest gaming entertainment companies in the world; “Caesar’s Entertainment”. James met and married his wife Anh in 1991. To this union two children were conceived: JaVanh and Asia.

On Tuesday, April 09,2019, God called James home. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Anh Gainey-Sanders; 2 children: son JaVanh Sanders and daughter Asia Sanders. Four brothers: Robert Sanders Jr., Benjamin Sanders, Billie Ray Sanders, and Eddie Dean Sanders. Four sisters Carrie Troutman, Bobbie Sanders, Idamarie Sanders Lovely, Caroline Sanders; all of Las Vegas, Kendrick Washington and Ray Calhoun a special member of the Sanders family, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
