Janet Marie Cap

Janet passed away on December 22, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer for 8 long years. She worked in Telecommunications at Bally’s Hotel, Las Vegas for 33 years. Although Janet never married or had children of her own, she was very playful with children, and shared a close bond with the youngest, Truth Toti. She had many friends, and was loved for her sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her dog, Lady, a Border Collie; parents, Joseph and Jean Cap; brother, Jim Cap; nephew, Joe Cap; and cousin, Marty Cap. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Toti, Betty Merritt; brothers, Joe (Ginny) Cap, Ronnie (Stephanie) Cap; nieces, Susan Smith (Greg), Jennifer Bryan, Candy Chrisman, and Hailey Cap; nephews, Donnie Toti , Frank Toti, and Nick Chrisman; grandnieces, Simone Smith, Samantha Smith, Jaimie Bryan; grandnephews, Nolan Bryan ,Truth Toti; aunt, Milada Spry and uncle, Richard Hermanek in South Dakota; cousins, Jerald Hermanek, Arizona, Jim Hermanek,Tony Hermanek, Wisconsin, Janice Carda, Barbara Peck, South Dakota, Connie Donahue, David Cap, John, Gary Michael, Bill Cap, and Richard Spry, all of Nebraska and Chris Cap, Nevada. Thank you all for your words of encouragement and support during her long illness. At her request, no services will be held.
