

Jeffrey Ray Silverman-Brown, beloved husband, brother and friend passed away July 26, 2013, at the age of 50. A resident of Las Vegas for the past 9 years, Jeff was born July 9, 1963 in Glendale, CA. A graduate of Beverly Hills High School, Jeff met his future husband Douglas Robert in 1998, enjoying a 15 year loving adventurous marriage. Jeff was a business owner, who helped to expose Worker’s Compensation fraud in the Los Angeles garment industry. He joined the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, working intimately on the Revitalization of Hollywood. Before his illness, Jeff enjoyed weight lifting, river rafting, dancing, travel and spending time with family, friends and especially his husband Doug. Jeff was a loyal friend whose door was always open to someone in need. He was ‘Uncle Jeff’ to an array for children of family and friends. An avid dog lover, he and Doug have fostered, sheltered and adopted nearly 10 dogs over the last 15 years. Jeff is survived by Douglas, his sister Cynthia Hartley, his lifelong friends Clinton Fischler and Alicia Carney Walker. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, CA. In memory of our beloved Jeff, please donate to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
