Jermeialy Lashell Porter was born on July 5, 1978 in Picayune, Mississippi to Brenda Porter Holmes.
Meila, as she was affectionately known, and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when she was a young child.
Meila received her education throughout the Clark County School District and she graduated from Rancho high school.
Meila was employed at La Quinta Suites, Harrahs Hotel and Casino, and most recent was the Best Western.
Meila will be remembered for her bright eyes and beautiful smile by each heart she was able to touch.
Meila leaves to cherish her beautiful memories to: her son; Chei Porter, her daughter; Shakayla Porter, her brothers; Syeed Porter, Meoyskie (Yosheta) Porter and Corey (Kenyata) Murphy, her father; Raymond Holmes, her grandfather; Alex Porter, a special cousin Betty Porter and her family, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Meila was preceded in death by her mother; Brenda Porter Holmes and her grandfather; Johnnie Victor.
