Jolene "Jo" Day, age 55, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 12,2014. Born August 9, 1959 in Salt Lake City, she had been a resident of the Las Vegas area for 25 years. Mrs. Day was a proud wife, mother and daughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Shirley Smith and sister, Melissa Smith. Her memory is survived by her husband of 36 years, Timothy P. Day, her children Caitlin, Kenneth, Nickie, Timothy W., Kirtly Day and mother, Joan Lavorson. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Shadow Hills Church, 7811 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas.
