In Vegas 1986 and then to the Duck Club!  
Even though it’s been 35 plus years, memory serves me well of the fun times we all had.  Greg was always sweet and kind to me.  He had a great smile and never once did I see him look down on anybody.  It just wasn’t in his nature.  He was clever and had a sense of humor.  As his photos show, he had a sparkle of magic in his eyes, and a genuine smile that would brighten the day.



Uncle Greg was always very kind to me . Whenever we would be at grandma Ann and Buds house he would always get up and give me his chair whether it was at home or a restaurant . Such a gentleman always . My heart is with the rest of us still here on Earth that are saddened by his lose . Rest In Peace ❤️ Dawn, Billy and family

Hearing the news of Greg's passing was absolutely shocking. 
Even though we haven't been in contact for quite sometime, I have always had fond memories of Greg.
My heart and thoughts are truly with his family at this most difficult time. 
it's truly hard to believe. 
you are all in my prayers.

So sorry to hear that Greg  is gone. We went to my Sr.Prom together. He was a great friend, funny and was always there if and when you needed him. XXOO Chris Nagy

My family and I send our prayers and condolences to The Lonergans. I have such fond memories of the Duck Club when our families got together. I also remember being in my 20’s and  staying  at The Las Vegas Hilton and I would go play black jack ( which I was terrible at) because Greg was there in the pit! ahhhh twenty-one year old crushes!! Greg was always so nice and polite and professional. 
I reunited with the boys a couple years ago and we all sat and ate and had drinks reminiscing about old times. 
This saddens me .  I am so sorry for all of you.

My heart has been broken with such sad news about my friend John (aka Greg). What a kind, gentle, sweet man he was. 
I was fortunate to work with him at the Hilton for several years,  and became friends. I know he loved life, travel and made many great memories. 
Greg left us much too soon and will be thought of often and never  forgotten.  💕

With deepest condolences to Greg’s family from our hearts to yours.  We met on a fishing expedition in Costa Rica , and were  fast friends. We fished many times with him, traveling to San Diego, Alaska, Lake Tahoe, to name a few
He will be greatly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family
