Joseph John Jacaruso

Joseph John Jacaruso passed away peacefully on May 19, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born June 24, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York and had been a resident of Nevada since 1998. Joseph was married to the love of his life, Suzanne for over 59 years. Being a truck driver, Joe traveled a lot, but when he came home, spending time with his family is all he wanted to do. Joe was such a sports fanatic that he could answer any trivia about any sports team ever. His favorite team of all time is the New York Dodgers.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Virginia Jacaruso; his two sons, Joseph and Stephen Jacaruso; and his grandson, Joseph Jacaruso. He is survived by his devoted wife, Suzanne Jacaruso; his two supportive children, Deborah (George) Elefantis and John Jacaruso; six grandchildren, Nicholas and Sabrina Elefantis, Suzanne and Anthony Caracci, Theresa, Bernadette, and Christine Jacaruso; and 11 great-grandchildren. A visitation will held Thursday, May 24th from 3-7pm and the funeral service will be Friday, May 25th at 8:30am. Both will be at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. The burial is at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
