Joseph Mumford Sr., 58, of Las Vegas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 19, 2012. He was born March 29, 1954. An accomplished musician, Joe played guitar for such artists as: Lionel Ritchie, Patti Labelle, and the Pointer Sisters to name a few. For the last eight years Joe has also been a Courier for Desert Radiologists. He was preceded in death by his brother Ray Hughes and granddaughter Nasia Pearson. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his children: Joseph Mumford Jr., Phyllis (Joshua) Pearson, Kelly and Eric Henderson; grandchildren: Nagh'Aree, Joshua Jr., Azlynn, and Ne'Mya; his brother Roy (Katherine) Hughes; his sister Kewanna (Ron) Watkins; his aunt Alice Mumford; three nieces; five nephews; and a host of family and friends.
