These beautiful photos are full of love, laughter, closeness and joy â€“ and what do all these good times have in common?  Your father was right there.  He looked so happy when he was with all of you.  Smile when you think of him, and keep the laughter going â€“ that would be the best tribute to him.  My sincere condolences to the entire family, with wishes for your hearts to heal, in time.

Oh Dad! You were the rock in our family. I miss you dearly each day and still can't believe you're gone. You were always there when I needed you, more than I can ever recount. You instilled strong ethics and family values I've passed down to my own children. You were a wonderful and generous father and grandfather. How we loved hearing your stories about your life growing up, time in the service and your work experiences! I will always have fond memories of our relationship and feel you are at peace and still watching over all of us.

My condolences go out to the Reed family and all those affected by the loss of Joe Reed.

My thoughts are with you, Sandy, and your family at this time of sorrow.  What a lovely tribute to your Dad!

Uncle Joe was always incredibly kind to my sister and I growing up.  He would let us play in his driveway and on his lawn and insisted we call him "Uncle Joe" instead of Mr. Reed.  I always got a friendly simile and wave when I passed by on my way to school.  I will remember him fondly.

I will miss you forever, Dad. You had a big heart, with family always coming first. You were always there for us. I still can't believe you are gone. Thanks for all of your help with my house and teaching me about gardening, fixing things in the house, and other life nuances. You always listened to me when I needed you there. Our heartfelt love and sympathy to all at this sad time.  We will always remember Joe with great fondness.  On two occasions he was our "driver and tour guide"  when we were in Vegas  We had fun with him and Ann. Joe was blessed with a loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, and son-in-law.
