From being a world traveler to time spent volunteering with Assistance League of Las Vegas, Judy was not afraid to live a full life. She spent her days delving into the latest novels, distributing life advice, catching up with friends, and staying informed about world events. Judy loved watching and playing tennis for most of her life and enjoyed going for a simple walk – whether that be a walk around a mall or a walk on the boardwalk in Virginia Beach. Judy was a proud Osage indian, kind, opinionated, and always unapologetically unafraid of what the future held.
An avid fashionista, Judy enjoyed keeping up with the trends. She had interest in everything from searching for her perfect hairstyle, to recommending perfect hairstyles for others. But far above physical attributes, Judy consistently stressed the importance of inner beauty; confidence, kindness, and being strong were words that she wanted people to know and live by. Judy was a shining example of how to endure life’s ups and downs with dignity, grace, and always inner beauty.
While Judy accomplished so much in her life, her biggest accomplishment by far was her ability to love. Judy’s family and friends meant everything to her and those that were lucky enough to know both her and her husband, Gene, know that they had a loved filled marriage that most people aspire to experience. Judy spent much of her time visiting her sisters in Oklahoma, as well as her daughter and grandchildren in Colorado (despite her aversion to cold weather).
Judy (or EO to close loved ones) will be wildly missed. Her love is something that she would want emanated – something to remember her by, something for us to spread, and something for us to remember.
