Kenneth E. West, 80 of Las Vegas passed away June 9, 2017. He was born March 13, 1937 in Sayre, Pennsylvania and resided in Las Vegas for 58 Years. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960 Stationed at Nellis Air Force base and immediately following went to work with the Clark County Sheriff Department; he was the last member of the Metro Police Department who served with 3 Police entities in Las Vegas, ie, CCSD, Las Vegas Police Department and the Metropolitan Police Department, spanning his 31 years with the Police community. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Deborah, his daughter Ruth Elizabeth West-Erickson, Sons Kenneth Jr. and Jeremy, 4 precious grandchildren, 1 sister and brother. Visitations will be held on Wednesday June 14th at Palm Mortuary 7400 W. Cheyenne from 3-7:00pm; Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 15th at 10am at Spring Valley Baptist Church 3135 S. Rainbow
