It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin George Denniston. A man whose infectious personality and boundless love for his family and friends brightened the lives of all who knew him. Kevin passed away at the age of 55, leaving behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and unwavering loyalty.
Kevin was the type of person who would light up any room he entered with his larger-than-life presence, infectious smile, and unmatched sense of humor. Always happy and go-lucky, Kevin never met a stranger and was always willing to do anything for anyone. His generosity and compassion knew no bounds, and he was deeply devoted to the people he loved, especially his family.
Proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps, Kevin served from 1989 to 1995, to include participation in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and the evacuation following the 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo. He was a dedicated Marine, stationed at various locations including Pensacola, FL, Santa Ana, CA, and Kailua, HI. Kevin took immense pride in his military accomplishments and the bonds he formed during his service.
Kevin’s loyalty to his family was evident in everything he did. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Tricia, and a loving father to Patrick and Emmalee. Kevin cherished every moment with his children. His passion for life extended to his many hobbies, including coaching youth football, enjoying ATV rides, hanging at the Colorado River, and being a passionate sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Vegas Golden Knights. Kevin was also an avid Star Wars fan, and always ready with a joke or quote.
His hobbies were always centered around his loved ones—whether it was family vacations or attending his children’s activities, Kevin was happiest when he was surrounded by those he cared about. His enthusiasm for life, his humor, and his kind-hearted nature will be missed by all who knew him.
He was a man who was always ready with a laugh, a smile, and a hand to help. His devotion to his faith, his family, and his friends will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Kevin’s father, Joseph Sr., and Tricia’s grandfather, Russell, were college roommates at Notre Dame and lifelong friends, having served together in the United States Air Force. Their strong bond was the foundation for Kevin and Tricia’s own love story.
Kevin is preceded in passing by his parents Joseph Denniston, Sr. and Patricia Anne Denniston.
