Kimberly is survived by her husband Michael Ewertz, her mother Katherine Hubbard, her father Larry Wadsworth, and her brother James Wadsworth along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and fur-babies.
Kimberly was a caring, selfless, dedicated, and ambitious individual in life. She was born in Greeley, Colorado where she lived for a short stint before relocating to Arizona. There, she graduated High School in Joseph City and immediately signed-up to serve in the United States Army as a Linguist. After eight years of honorable service Kimberly left active duty and joined the Army National Guard while simultaneously attending the University of Arizona where she earned a bachelor’s in Criminology. Kimberly then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and secured a position in the North Las Vegas Police Department where she proudly served and protected the community for 16 years.
Kimberly will be remembered for her sense of humor and honest way of approaching life. The world will be a little duller without her bright smile and giving heart.
Services with full military and police honors will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV August 24th at 10:00am.
Following the services, the family will host a celebration of her life at Palm Northwest Mortuary from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
