Ladylou Balansag, 58 of Las Vegas born in The Philippines on November 18, 1956 passed away at Solari Hospice on December 27, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ladylou worked at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip as a porter. She is survived by her son Ronald Porciuncula who moved from Hawaii to Las Vegas to assist in her care, her daughters Mary Joy and Maricel Porciuncula of the San Francisco Bay Area, her dear friends and coworkers Arturo and Marisela Perez who helped care for her in her final days, and her extended family of friends from the Bellagio. Funeral services will be held, Friday, January 5, 2015 at 9am, Palm Mortuary – Downtown, 1325 N Main Street, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101. Light breakfast will be served following the service until 12pm at Palm and Ms. Balansag will lay in peaceful repose in the chapel until 2pm.
