

Marine Corps Veteran Staff Sergeant Lennie J. Guerin, age 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family in Las Vegas, NV on November 12, 2025. Born in Columbus Georgia, Lennie lived a life defined by courage, service, and unwavering love for his family and country.
Lennie was a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Mechanic and Private Pilot, a profession that perfectly matched his passion for all things aviation. Whether he was working hands-on with aircraft or sharing stories about the skies, his pride in his craft was unmistakable. His meticulous nature, steady patience, and commitment to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and friends throughout the years. He was an avid firearm enthusiast, scale model builder, RC airplane operator and a John Wayne fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Darlene of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter, Jennifer (Charles) Marchese of Sanford Maine; his son Shaun (Traci) Guerin of Apache Junction Arizona; his granddaughter Alexandria (Jarrod) Thyng of Ocala Florida; his grandson Aidan Marchese of Sanford Maine, and great grandchildren Aubree & Julian Thyng of Ocala Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Guerin; his father, Lawrence Guerin; his brother, Ronald Cobb and his granddaughters Alexis & Victoria Marchese.
Lennie will be remembered for his expertise in aviation, his love for his family, and his commitment to his craft. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, passion, and love that will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
