Leticia was the embodiment of resilience—adaptable, passionate, and driven in every chapter of her life. An intelligent and highly structured woman, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and built a distinguished career as a pharmacist that spanned more than 25 years. The majority of her professional life was dedicated to serving patients at Cook County Hospital, where she was respected for her precision, knowledge, and steadfast commitment to care.
A woman of deep and enduring faith, Leticia was raised Catholic and remained devoted throughout her life. In Las Vegas, she was a faithful parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, and during her years in Illinois, she attended St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. Her faith was a quiet but constant foundation, guiding her values, her work ethic, and her love for family and community.
Leticia had a vibrant spirit and an adventurous heart. She cherished travel and embraced every opportunity to explore the world—whether cruising to new destinations or journeying across Europe, including Italy, France, and Switzerland, as well as visiting Canada. She found great joy in experiencing different cultures, cuisines, and landscapes.
Dining out was one of her favorite pleasures. Always eager to try something new, she preferred gathering around a restaurant table over staying in, delighting in good food and even better company. She also loved shopping and was especially fond of bringing family and friends to explore the iconic stores along Magnificent Mile in Chicago.
A devoted sports fan, Leticia enthusiastically supported the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Bears, cheering them on with loyalty and pride.
Above all, Leticia will be remembered for her strength, intelligence, unwavering faith, and zest for life. She lived with purpose, embraced the world with curiosity, and touched the lives of many through her kindness, determination, and enduring love.
She leaves behind a legacy of resilience and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
