Linda J. Ostrovsky of Las Vegas, NV passed away on March 31, 2017 at Nathan Adelson Hospice after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. The daughter of Don and Lucy Jones she was born on February 8, 1942 in Los Angeles California. The family moved to Boulder City, NV in 1959. She attended BYU before settling in Las Vegas in 1961. Linda married Robert Ostrovsky in 1994. She has a son Brandon Hansen and three step sons David, Mark and Ben Ostrovsky. She is also survived by six grandchildren. She had a long career in the gaming industry working for the Sands, Landmark, MGM, and Bally's hotels. Prior to retirement she was the Head Cashier, Credit and Collections Manager for MGM and Bally’s. In her retirement she served as a Temple Worker at the LDS Las Vegas Temple. Linda is one of eight children, Gary, Don, Marilyn, Steve (deceased), Myron, Donna (deceased), Julia. Donations can be made in her name to the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas NV.
