Linda was a vibrant woman who lit up any room she shuffled into. She wasn't for the faint of heart; she had no filter and kept it real even when we wished she would keep quiet. She loved gory movies, watching the news, Final Fantasy, and the ocean. Opera trained, she had the voice of an angel, but couldn't dance to save her life. She hated when her husband would touch her feet, when her eldest daughter wouldn't clear her voicemail, when her younger daughter waited until the last minute to ask for a ride, or when her son forgot to take out the trash. Despite these things, she loved us dearly. She would cook us delicious meals and anxiously await our evaluation, telling us that "it was probably nasty and we should feed it to the dogs," even though nothing that woman has ever cooked has been less than stellar. That, and countless other little quirks, made her who she was. No small summary could encompass the goofy, caring, temperamental, lively, beautiful, petty, big-hearted woman she was, but she never liked anything flashy and valued simplicity. She lives on through her husband and best friend DT, her daughters Aura and Ally, and her son Junior. She is most likely fishing up in the sky, drinking her hot tea. We will always love her.
