Lorraine “Lorri” Mona Koslow Tilley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a courageous battle with stage 4 cervical cancer.
Born on July 12th, 1956 in Dallas, Texas, Lorraine shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Allie Tilley. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family. She was the proud mother of three children—Jared, Erica (and her husband, Oscar), and Sean (and his Fiancée, Trixy)—and an adoring grandmother to five grandchildren: Chloe, Michaela, Emma, Prescott, and Norah.
She was the daughter of Martin Koslow and Adrienne Trattner Koslow, and sister to two surviving brothers, Stephen Koslow and David Koslow.
She graduated from Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama, Class of 1974, and attended Calhoun Community College before she moved to Dallas, Texas.
For many years she worked as a data processor in Dallas, and was a librarian at Plano West Senior High School in Plano, Texas, for 6 years before retiring in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the past 2 years she took great pride in her time volunteering at the James H Bilbray Elementary School that two of her grandchildren attend. Her professional life reflected her love of learning and service to others.
Lorraine will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a vibrant lady who never met a stranger, with a goal to always make a person feel better than when she met them. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Friends and family are warmly invited to Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery in North Las Vegas on Monday September 15th, 2025 for a viewing at 11am and graveside service at 12pm.
