

DR. MANISH JAIN Dr. Manish Jain died suddenly at the age of 35, April 23, 2010, at 10:51 p.m. He was a gifted, generous, intelligent, charismatic, truly remarkable individual who brought joy and light to all of those he touched. His family, friends and colleagues are deeply saddened by his death and feel his loss acutely. Manish was born in Chicago, to Drs. Ranjit and Renu Jain, Feb. 7, 1975. He moved to Las Vegas in 1983 with his family, where he attended The Meadows School (Class of 1993). He spent two years at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., and two years at Manipal University in India. He received his BA degree in philosophy from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1999. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, in 2003 and completed his residency in the Department of Neurosurgery at Tulane in 2009. He met his wife, Donna Jain, in Las Vegas. They were married April 18, 2000. He was father to Sebastian (age 14), Taj (age 9), and Manisha and Amini (twins, age 6). Manish had recently moved his family home to Las Vegas, secured a job, obtained his Nevada medical license and was about to start his practice as a neurosurgeon and a new chapter of his life. He celebrated his 10-year wedding anniversary with his wife, Donna, one week prior to his death. He loved his family very much and his family loved him. He is survived by his wife, Donna; children; parents, Ranjit and Renu Jain; and sisters, Neelu and Neeta Jain. He is remembered for his drive, charisma, warmth, love and kindness. He is deeply missed. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101, (702) 464-8300.
