Marcy Jo Kallick, age 66, a retired lighting industry icon and founding partner of Kalco Lighting, of Las Vegas, passed away December 6, 2011. She was born April 19, 1945 in Decatur, Indiana, spent much of her youth in the Florida Keys and had been a resident of Nevada for over 35 years. Marcy never met a stranger and has countless friends across the country whose lives have been positively influenced by Marcy’s larger than life presence. Marcy is survived by her husband Harry, daughter Laurie, brother David Squier (Marilyn), nephew David, great niece Abigail. A celebration of Marcy’s life will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146 with a reception from 4pm – 6pm and services following. To honor Marcy’s memory, please come dressed in bright colors. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the S.P.C.A. or other no kill animal shelter in Marcy’s name.
