Margaret Elaine Atkins

Margaret Elaine Atkins, 91 years old, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully in her home, where she wanted to be, with family by her side. She was born January 9th, 1934, and passed away on December 15th, 2025.

So bittersweet this moment as we Celebrate the life of our Mother. Heartache for us who she left behind and Happiness for her because we know she is with our Lord.

She was born in Humboldt, Iowa, and moved to California in her early years. She eventually made her way to Las Vegas and raised her family here in Las Vegas. She was an amazing and devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker, and always kept the family together. She is survived by her immediate family of 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren, two son-in-laws, daughter-in-law. She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle, husband, Ralph, and her youngest child, Marie (Mimi).

She was loved by all who met her. She had a heart of Gold, Loved the Lord, was patient and would always be there to lend an ear or give advice. She was gracious for all she had. She taught Sunday School, loved going to yard sales, knitting, crocheting, playing the piano, and she loved being a homebody. She was extremely witty with an wonderful sense of humor and would always make you laugh. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever. She will be missed.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, December 27th, at 11:30, at Christ Lutheran Church at 111 N. Torrey
