Margaret Cherrie Ford, born January 5, 1923 in London, England, left this earth on February 9, 2017 to rejoin her beloved husband, Vern. E. Ford. Margaret, a British war bride, met her husband during WWII and traveled to the US in 1947. She resided in Henderson, Nevada for 57 years leaving in 2010 to live with her daughter in Charlotte, North Carolina. She encouraged education whether formal or informal, and worked many years for the Clark County Health District. Margaret was active with the LDS church serving with Relief Society, Young Women's and as a Den Mother in the Scouting program. Margaret enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, traveling, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She considered her greatest accomplishment her family. The example she set of strength, loyalty, and compassion, is a legacy held dear by those who love her. Margaret is survived by three sons, Frank (Janet), Kent (Debbie), Terry (Julie) and a daughter Sandra, ten grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. Private services are being held for the family. Arrangements are being handled through Palm Downtown Mortuary, where she will be interred. Vern and Margaret together. Again.
