Marion was a beloved member of OLLV's school. She always had a kind word and the children adored her. As a parent, I felt secure that she was there answering any question and leading by her fine example. My heart goes out to her family and I hope you all know how special she will always be to me and my son. God bless.

Marion, we have loved you since we met you so many years ago at Our Lady of Las Vegas. My girls fell in love with you and all your daughters so much so that we followed them to St. Francis De Sales.  You were a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to so many.  You helped so many people in the Catholic community and we are so sad for your wonderful husband and family, particularly your loving daughters, the heart and soul of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. Dear Marion,
   Although I only met you once for nearly 12 hours, I must say that you must have been a remarkable woman.  For in those 12 long hours I met your loving family and how they shared their stories of growing up with you as their beloved mother.  For instance I learned you were a speed-demon at typing that left your daughters in awe as they watched your nimble fingers race over the keys in a lightning fast pace. They thought you could have been a texting champion if cellular phones were available in your prime years. I also learned that you were shocked that it snowed just one day previously, April 10th.  
   Yes, Marion you must have been a special Mom, for not just one or two of your family members were there sharing your last hours but more like the entire St Francis Catholic School to include the Principal.
   I was so honored to meet your husband and three daughters, son-in-laws,and grandchildren. I was more than touched by all the love and sorrow they felt for you.  I could not wait to share my admiration of such a loving family to my dear wife, who also happens to be a teacher.  It took all my strength not to cry like a baby when I shared the details of my day and how it was so sad and beautiful at the same moment.  I can only hope my family can love me as much as your family loved you, particularly your devoted husband.
   Yes Marion, although I only knew you for 12 hours, you will be a lasting image burned into my memory for the remaining of my years.  Thank you for touching my life and teaching me to be a better husband and father.  God Bless You.
