Marjorie Hough McPherson, age 83, a devoted wife, a loving mother and mother-in-law, and a fun-loving grandmother passed away on October 28, 2016. She was born on October 22, 1933 in Beaumont, California and had been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada since 1989. Marjorie was a housewife who raised her children in Hyattsville, MD. She loved her family, her dogs and cats, and video poker excursions. Her husband of 62 years and best friend, Robert Boyd McPherson, preceded her in death on August 17, 2016. Marjorie is survived by her two children, Susan L. Cherry (David) of Bradenton, FL and Kenneth E. McPherson, Esq., of Scaggsville, MD; six grandchildren, Adam Cherry (Kristina) of Winter Garden, FL, Andrew Cherry (Carly) of Rockaway, NJ, and Caroline, Anna, Ryan, and Reagan McPherson all of Scaggsville, MD. There will be a Graveside Service on Friday, December 16, at 12:00 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
