Marvin H. Beck, 82, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Feb. 6, 2012 in Las Vegas. Marvin was born in Pittsburgh and was a retired programmer at Fisher Scientific. Marvin was a resident of Las Vegas for 25 years. Marvin was preceded in death by Jo Ann Beck, his wife of 62 years. He is survived by his four children, Barbara (Dennis) McMichael, Nancy (Bob Fisher), Timothy Beck, Deborah Beck; three grandchildren, Brian, Lori, and Richie Humanic; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Robert Major; and one sister-in-law, Mae Beck. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones, Las Vegas.
