Marvin Ray Verdick, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away on May 10, 2015. He was born on March 4, 1934 in Yorktown, Illinois to Harry and Ruby Verdick. He served in the U.S. Army for two years as a switchboard operator with the rank of Corporal. He married the love of his life, Jerelyn, on November 30, 1996, and they spent his last few years in wedded bliss. He enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jerelyn, three sons; Marvin Verdick II(Marty), Steven Verdick, and Phillip (Candace) Calagna , six daughters; Terry(Doug) Verdick, Dawn Verdick, Kimberly Verdick, Jennifer Verdick, Lorie Hambelton, and Mindy (Frank) Topol, seven grandsons; Matthew Ribb, Tim Verdick, Daniel Verdick, Jacob Verdick, Gavin Ortega, Justin Calagna, and Tommy Calagna, one granddaughter, Brianna Ortega, his beloved cat, Mischu and many good friends.
