Mary Jo W Hirsch

Born in Los Angeles, California, on January 15, 1944, Mary Jo was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Parkison) Witmer.

Mary Jo grew up in California and attended the University of Southern California (USC), where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. It was also at USC that she met the love of her life, Tom. His career eventually took them to Pennsylvania and then to Bedford, Massachusetts, where she resided for the past 54 years and raised her beloved family. Mary Jo enjoyed knitting, reading, and watching sports.

Mary Jo is lovingly survived by her husband, Thomas Hirsch; her children, Stephanie Morgan and her husband, Jeffrey, Michelle McIntosh and her husband, Donald, Heather Smith, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Christopher Hirsch and his wife, Maureen, of Parker, Colorado. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jo was predeceased by her brother, Richard Witmer.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 70 Concord Road, Billerica. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. The service will also be available via live stream; please contact the family for access information. Interment will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, where a graveside service will be held on September 10, 2025.
