

Michael R. Loudermilk, age 85 of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on March 10. 2026. Born on August 3, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas. Beloved son of the late T. R. and Lois Loudermilk. Michael is survived by his loving wife Lauren and a constellation of friends whose lives he touched with warmth, kindness and a generous spirit.
Michael was a man of drive, resilience, and faith. He was an athlete in high school, excelling in basketball, football, and sprinting. He attended Arlington Heights High school, and Texas Christian University. In 1964, he arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada, with less than $100 in his pocket, where he began as a Baccarat card dealer and eventually found his true passion as a real estate investor and building wealth through investments. He built a remarkable career specializing in developing shopping centers.
Michael’s work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit opened doors for many and left an enduring mark on the communities he touched. He valued, perseverance, integrity, and constant learning, qualities that guided his path from athlete to dealer to real estate magnate. He cherished family moments, instilling in those around him, a belief in hard work, loyalty, and generosity.
A memorial service will be held at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129 on April 18, 2026, from 10 AM to 11 AM. A reception will follow from 11 AM to 1 PM
