Monique Angele Dischbein, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from cancer with her family by her side. Her larger than life presence will be missed by all her family and friends. She was born on August 13, 1940 in New York City to Ange and Emilienne Bianconi. She moved to Las Vegas in 1954 and graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1958. She married Bill Dischbein in 1960 and raised two children. She also started and operated for 47 years AA-Row Wrecking & Salvage. She is preceded in death by her mother and father. Monique is survived by her husband, Bill Dischbein, her son Frank (Phyllis) Dischbein, her daughter Marie (Brent) Dischbein-Campanella, her sister Jackie Bianconi, her grandchildren Lindsay (Matt) Harbison and Eric Dischbein, and her great-grandchildren.
Services and a Celebration of Monique’s life will be at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Palm Mortuary located at 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV, 89129. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be sent to Monique’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
