I just learned of Nancy's passing and am so saddened at the news. She was truly one-of-a-kind - possessing a spirit, passion, sense of humor and presence that I'll never forget. From reading the many tributes to her, it's evident how many people she touched during her too-short life. I feel honored to have worked with and known Nancy. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. We'll miss you Nancy. God bless you.

When you measure your life in how many people you touched and helped to make a difference - Nancy was special. With always a friendly smile, she really was a Legend in Las Vegas always willing to help anyone in town. She touched so many of us, that I speak about her constantly to others about her energy at the LVCVA. I send my deepest sympathies to her family, she was one of the good ones and made a difference in my career. It is what you do with your life when you are on this Earth, Nancy did really good and will long be remembered for it.

Always a sweet laugh and smile, very pretty expressive hands and  a wonderful smile.  All of this was shown on the outside just to give you a taste of what was inside.  Blessed to be called a friend.  With peace and love our friend, you are now our sweet angel.

I'll remember some really good times in life spent with Nancy (and Pat, too) travelling the world, playing golf, having meals together, bidding a "Slainte" toast now and then ... and so, offering an Irish verse  ...

Nancy was loved by many and she returned the love in full. She could look like a princess and host tea with royalty and presidents; however she was only a â€œDaddy's girlâ€ at heart and was at her best being the bright, funny, bustling gal that knew every story about Vegas and laughing with friends and family.  Nancy truly missed her dad and once commented that he used to refer to her as his â€œlucky penny.â€ She suddenly started to find pennies everywhere she went and felt it might just be Daddy letting her know that all was well.  Nancy was a â€œlucky pennyâ€ in my life also and she will be remembered for her warmth and humor always. 
To all that she ever loved and all that ever loved her, I'm certain that she would wish:

may the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rain fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Always the best laugh, smile, pretty hands and those wonderful sparklie eyes. All of that came through on the outside because what was in the inside was wonderful. I am so greatful that I was able to get to know you, and be a special part of your life. I am so sad that I won't be able to talk to you or see you anymore.  I will hold you in my heart. You will be loved and missed by me, and so many others.

Since I was a little girl I never once saw my cousin without a BIG smile on her face, she was the kindest and most beautiful person I knew both inside and out. She was known as Ms Manners to my kids cause she was always teaching them a thing or two at dinner! Sharing her wonderful stories with them on her travels to beautiful places and always making us feel loved and important like we were the only ones in a room full of people. She will forever be missed in our hearts. Rest Nancy till we see each other again....

Nancy, my Sister, my friend, sometimes my mother. Thank you for all your love and wisdom. Thank you for the love you gave my children. I love you and will miss you. I know you believed in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am comforted to know you are in His arms where you can find rest.

Our old friend Dan McLeod called today to tell me of Nancy's passing.  I haven't seen her for many years but remember her fondly from my years in Washington DC.  Nancy was one of the most lively, vivaceous women I've ever know.  She had such a zest for life all I could do when I was with her was smile.  I know her passing has left a hole in many people heart.  What a gal.
