

Nathan Wayne Lee, 74, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 13, 2014, from complications of a sudden illness. Nathan was born June 13, 1939, in Lake City, Ark., to Victoria and Hugh Lee. Nathan moved with his family to California in 1947. After graduating from Corcoran High School, Nathan attended Weber Airline School in Kansas City. He got his first job with pacific Airlines in 1959. He met the love of his life, Joan Bleggi, while working at the ticket counter in Oildale, Calif. They were married in April 1961. Nathan was transferred to work at McCarran Airport in 1973. After 37 years of service, Nathan retired from the airlines in January 1996. He then went on to work part-time at the MGM in special events. Nathan was very proud of his three sons, Kevin (Jennifer), Karl (Beth) and Kyle (Christina); nine grandchildren, Karla (Harvey) Tadmor, Kayla (Shawn) Lusk, Kara, Krista, Katie, Jake, Nikki, Adrianna and Curtis; and one great-grandchild, Lincoln Tadmor. Nathan loved all sports. When his sons were young, he coached Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. He became his grandchildren's biggest cheerleader as they played soccer, basketball and football. Nathan will be remembered most for his fun-loving attitude, his ability to tell a story and his unending support and love for his family. Memorial services to celebrate Nathan's life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
