Nikki grew up in Simi Valley California. Her first Professional Career was in Banking. Nikki was a Special Talent and had a Flair for Fashion and Interior Design. Nikki was introduced to Kenny Wynn and his Brother Steve and was offered an Opportunity to relocate to Atlantic City NJ to help them develop their In House Design and Purchasing Department, “Atlandia Design”, to serve their Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Properties in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. After the Sale of the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Nikki and Atlandia Design moved to Las Vegas to develop a property that would literally and forever Change the Face of Las Vegas for Generations to come…. The Mirage. It was a Game Changing Career Defining Moment for Nikki, Kenny and Steve working with the Design Genius of Roger Thomas, Jane Ellen Radoff, Karina Ashworth and countless others including renowned Architects Joel Bergman, Paul Steelman and of course her Beloved and Personally Mentored Staff of Professionals working directly under her Tutelage and Mentoring in the Procurement Office. Many of those individuals have continued on to Successful Hospitality Purchasing Careers and Businesses of their own utilizing the many Lessons Learned from Nikki Jones.
The Atlandia Team which Nikki and Kenny Wynn founded was Ground Breaking doing the Impossible and the Extraordinary that had never been done before on that Scale. There was nobody in the Country better at their Profession and their Position than Nikki Jones. Nikki was the Highest Ranking Female Employee of the 30,000 Plus People Employed by the Company. The Atlandia Team were the Heart and Soul of the Growth and Development of Las Vegas including the Beautiful Bellagio, Treasure Island, Beau Rivage Mississippi and the Golden Nugget Las Vegas.
Nikki enjoyed being with Friends. There has never been a better Dinner Partner than Nikki Jones. She Loved her Cat Coco who would speak to her in many ways. Her “Thing” was Cruising. She traveled to many corners of the World in the only way she knew, with Style and Class. She Loved it!
Nikki meant so much to so many and will be missed. She is Loved. Her Legacy lives on with her former Staff Members who she loved and mentored and cared for.
