Norma Jean Aliano, born in Washington DC in 1939 passed away peacefully at home on Sept 26, 2018 at the age of 79. She was a longtime resident of Las Vegas where she worked for the School District, and retired in 2001. She loved gardening, sewing, making crafts, crossword puzzles and computer games. She is survived by her sons, William and Dennis Hewitt, her daughters Kathy Moore, Teresa Aliano and Michele Aliano-Weir; her sister Vickie French; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and her dear friends Jim & Donna Ponzio and George Harlow. She will be greatly missed. Services will be private. Donations can be made in her honor to the Fisher House (www.fisherhouse.org), which helps military families stay together while their loved one is recovering.
