Paul Ross Aznarez

Paul Ross Aznarez, 75, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on February 22, 2026. Born August 13, 1950, in Las Vegas, NV, Paul lived a life marked by steady devotion to family, community, and the many people he guided and encouraged through the years.

Paul graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1968 and later attended UNLV. He met his wife, Veronika, in 1973, and they married in 1976. In time, Paul became known not only for his commitment at home, but also for the meaningful presence he brought to the teams and students he served as a coach at Indian Springs High School, Valley High School, Palo Verde High School, and UNLV.

A dedicated and respectful man, Paul found joy in simple, lasting

pleasures, such as fishing, camping, coaching, watching sports, and cooking. Above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his

children and grandchildren, building memories rooted in love,

patience, and pride.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Veronika; his father, Paul; and his mother, Joyce. He is survived by his sister, Cathy; his children, Joe (Jennifer), Anne, and Mark; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Grace, Paul, and Bryant.

A Memorial Service will be held at St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 6350 N Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89149, US, on March 7, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
