Peter Howard Nascimento, 60 passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada. Peter was born on April 3, 1950 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents Harold and Sumie Nascimento. He was in the Army for 20+ years and eventually moved to Las Vegas. In Las Vegas he was a Security Officer for many hotels and his last employer was the Planet Hollywood Hotel where he loved his job and all his friends. Peter is survived by his wife of 35 years Tae, and their wonderful son Halbert, along with Peter's Mother Sumie his Brothers; Bobby, Richard, Halbert L. and Sister Haroldyne Mayeda. Visitation will be held Saturday March 5, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Palm Mortuary 1600 South Jones Blvd.. A Funeral Service will take place at the same location on Monday March 7, 2011 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
