

Rae Ann spent much of her childhood in Tubac, Arizona, where she grew up alongside her siblings Jim, Suzanne, Renee, and John. Those early years shaped her strong sense of family, loyalty, and resilience—qualities that remained with her throughout her life.
After becoming a mother, Rae Ann devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her daughter, Alicia, who was the center of her world. Her love for her family was unwavering and defined the course of her life. She was married to Fred for 34 years, and although their marriage later ended, they remained close and continued to share a special bond built on years of shared memories and love.
Her greatest pride and joy were her daughter Alicia and son-in-law Matthew, along with her four beloved grandsons, Connor, Garrett, Logan, and Preston. She cherished every moment spent with them and found immense happiness in watching her grandsons grow.
Rae Ann believed deeply in the value of education. After supporting her daughter through college, she returned to school herself, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and working in the business field for many years. Later, she followed her heart back to the classroom, earning a Master’s Degree in Education and becoming a teacher. Throughout her career in the school district, she served as a learning strategist, where she found great fulfillment in supporting teachers and helping students grow, learn, and succeed.
Rae Ann enjoyed traveling and embraced opportunities to explore new places and create meaningful memories along the way. She also loved music and singing, finding comfort and joy in its expression. Rae Ann was a loyal and devoted friend, treasuring the relationships she built over the years. Her faith was the foundation of her life and her strength during times of struggle. It sustained her and guided her with grace and perseverance.
Rae Ann will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her commitment to education, her adventurous spirit, her steadfast faith, and her loyal heart. Her love and legacy live on in the lives of those who knew and cherished her.
