C. Richard Dickinson, 66, of Las Vegas passed away peacefully December 24, 2016. Born in Richfield Utah in 1950, he was oldest son of Clark and Martha Dickinson. He graduated from Utah State University in 1973. After a brief job as an IRS auditor, he pursued a career as a Certified Public Accountant. He practiced as a licensed CPA in Las Vegas for over 34 years, most of that time managing his own practice specializing in tax preparation and planning for individuals and small businesses. He served as the Treasurer for the Old Spanish Trail Association. He enjoyed running his own tax practice, reading, sports, anything historical, genealogical research, and classic car shows where he would display his restored '51 Ford Truck. He was quick to help others in need. He was a dedicated father and grandfather, and was very supportive of all activities in which his grandchildren participated. He is preceded in death by his mother Martha and his father Clark. He is survived by his brother Bradley, his wife Jeannie, his three sons (and spouses) Michael, James, and Charles, as well as all seven grandchildren, Emma, Blake, Grace, Luke, Joshua, Julie, and Hunter. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to AVIANT Hospice, who provided excellent care for Richard during the last few months of his life. Donations can be made online at www.avianthospice.com. Private funeral services to be held for immediate family are pending.
