Es con gran tristeza y profundo dolor en el corazón que anunciamos el fallecimiento de Rigoberto Márquez, “La Polla,” amado esposo, padre y amigo, quien nos dejó demasiado pronto a la temprana edad de 54 años. Rodeado de su amada familia, Rigoberto luchó valientemente contra ALS durante cinco años, mostrando una increíble fuerza en cada paso del camino.

Nacido en la hermosa ciudad costera de Zihuatanejo,Gro., Rigoberto emigró a los Estados Unidos en los años 80, donde conoció a su amada esposa María del Carmen en 1990. Al año siguiente tuvieron una hija juntos y luego dos hijos a quienes amó profundamente.

Rigoberto era un maestro artesano en la industria del Granito y Mármol donde su talento y habilidad aportaron belleza a muchos hogares. Pero su trabajo era más que un empleo; era una pasión que reflejaba la fuerza y la belleza perdurable de su espíritu.

Apasionado del fútbol, Rigoberto disfrutaba su tiempo en el campo jugando en varios equipos que representaban a su ciudad natal. Compartió esta pasión con su familia y amigos de la infancia, muchos de los cuales también se trasladaron a los EE. UU., creando vivencias y recuerdos compartidos, risas que trascendieron fronteras.

Rigoberto nunca tuvo temor de probar cosas nuevas y hacía amigos con facilidad. Saludaba a todos con una sonrisa, amaba bromear y recordar sus memorias favoritas con todos. El era conocido por su estilo distintivo, vistiéndose en camisetas gráficas de sus bandas favoritas y llamativos Nike. Le gustaba poner a todo volumen sus canciones de rock que llenaban el aire con energía y nostalgia.

Deja atrás a su amada esposa, María Del Carmen, con la cual compartió 34 años de su vida al lado de sus tres amados hijos, Carla, Carin y Alexis. El legado de Rigoberto es un testimonio de una vida llena de amor, risa y el coraje para abrazar cada momento.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rigoberto "La Polla" Marquez, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us far too soon at the young age of 54. Surrounded by his loving family, Rigoberto bravely fought against ALS for five years, displaying incredible strength at every step of the way.

Born in the beautiful coastal city of Zihuatanejo, Rigoberto emigrated to the United States in the 1980s, where he met his beloved wife, María del Carmen, in 1990. The following year, they had a daughter together and then two sons, whom he deeply loved.

Rigoberto was a master craftsman in the Granite and Marble industry, where his talent and skill brought beauty into many homes. But his work was more than just a job; it was a passion that reflected the strength and enduring beauty of his spirit.

A passionate soccer fan, Rigoberto enjoyed his time on the field, playing on several teams that represented his hometown. He shared this passion with his family and childhood friends, many of whom also moved to the U.S., creating a tapestry of shared memories and laughter that transcended borders.

Rigoberto was never afraid to try new things and made friends easily. He greeted everyone with a smile, loved to joke, and reminisced about his favorite memories with all. He was known for his distinctive style, dressing in graphic tees of his favorite bands and eye-catching Nikes. He liked to blast his classic rock songs that filled the air with energy and nostalgia.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 33 years, María Del Carmen, and his three dear children, Carla, Carin, and Alexis. Rigoberto's legacy is a testament to a life full of love, laughter, and the courage to embrace every moment.

In memory of Rigoberto, we are reminded of the beauty of life and the power of love to transcend even the most challenging circumstances. A visitation for Rigoberto will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - South Jones, 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, followed by a funeral service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
