On June 20th, 1946 Robert L. Carter was born to the late Arthur and Rosie Carter in Lake Village, Arkansas. Robert attended Central High School in Lake Village, Arkansas. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada August 18, 1961. He retired from CCSD 1976-2006. Robert met Gwendolyn in 2000 and married in 2009.
Robert was proceeded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rosie Carter; brothers Arthur Carter Sr. and Milton Carter; his sisters Floria, Ruth, Ruby, Helen, Thelma and Hattie, and his son Cedric.
Robert was a loving, kind person and touched the hearts of everyone in his path. He leaves to Christ his wife Gwendolyn, son Robert Jr. daughter Lisa (Terry), brother Bobby James (Rosie), sisters Mildred Carter, Peggy Davidson (Nemirah), ten Grandchildren, five Great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and three friends Evan-Paul, Andy Graves and Willie Turner.
