Robert "Bob" A. Chvatal, age 68, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Las Vegas after a heroic battle with cancer. Born February 1, 1946 in Bedford, Ohio, he had been a Las Vegas resident for more than fifteen years. Bob's passion was building and he worked with Carpenter's Union for more than 40 years, having served Local #1977. He loved life and enjoyed fishing and loved music. He loved life and everything that came with it! Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Deborah; sister Cindy (Bob) Hutton and many special extended family members, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for 1pm on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1430 J. Street, Sacramento, California.
