Robert J. Gallagher, 82, of Las Vegas, passed away April 25, 2011, after a long illness. He was born May 11, 1928, in Ruth, Nev., and was a lifetime resident of Nevada. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a longtime business owner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Jean Barozzi; and his brother, William Gallagher. He is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years, Elaine (Nee Powell); his daughter, Cheryl; his sons, Patrick (Kari), Jeffrey (Lynda) and Timothy; and his daughter, Colleen Seifman (Tom). His legacy includes 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. A reception will follow.
